Security Assistant

Naknan's Security Assistant helps you identify and verify the integrity of each executable and shared library on each device, then monitors for any new executable or shared library, and helps maintain the baseline software configuration of each device. Part of maintaining the software baseline is patching. Patch management is the process of securely controlling the acquisition, deployment, accounting, and reporting of software updates for operating systems and applications which reside on various kinds of computing devices, such as workstations, servers, routers, and laptops.

From the three simple components shown above, you can manage the patching process for a practically unlimited number of devices scattered far and wide -- even around the world. The "Multi-Layered Server Configuration" drawing shows how servers can be tiered to keep the number of devices, or the geographic spread of devices, manageable. The architecture is inherently resilient. It is also highly secure because all its control functions are based on a proprietary protocol which was designed from the first byte to be secure.
